Paul was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia in 2004. Paul holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Western Sydney University and was previously a member of the NSW Police Force for over 19 years.
Paul is an accredited Independent Children’s Lawyer and a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. Paul is a qualified Mediator and able to issue Section 60I Certificate.
Whilst Pauls caseload is predominantly based on complex family law matters, including appearing in the High Court of Australia, Paul also provides advice on separation, divorce and children’s matters. Further, Paul has a vast knowledge of criminal law having previously worked as a detective for the NSW Police Force.
Paul has an active role in his local community taking part in numerous community programmes and actives including domestic violence forums and committees, Naidoc & Multicultural activities and on a personal note is a consultant to the Parramatta NRL on Junior Rugby League and Catholic Convents Competitions and is a life member of Parramatta Junior Rugby League.
Paul has presented seminars on various topics relating to family law to private institutions, the community and government groups.
Paul is the Principal solicitor of Walkden Law & Mediation along with his wife Susan Walkden.

Susan has over 25 years conveyancing experience in Residential & Commercial Property and Leasing legal transactions. If you have a question Susan has the answer.
Susan is qualified through Macquarie University and holds an unrestricted Conveyancing Certificate and is a full member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers.
Susan was previously the principal of Family Conveyancing Practice which has now merged with Walkden Law & Mediation to enable Susan to expand her practice and help her community with a wider range of legal services which Susan is energised and passionate about.
Susan has an active role in the local community taking part in numerous community programmes and actives, presenting seminars on various topics relating to First Home Owners, Retirement Villages and Self Managed Superannuation Fund purchases.
Susan is a Director of Walkden Law & Mediation along with her husband Paul Walkden.

Grace Walkden
Senior Solicitor | Accredited FDRP
Grace graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology in 2019. Grace completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law in and was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australian in 2020.
Grace holds a Master of Law (Applied Law) with a double major of Family Dispute Resolution and Wills and Estates at the College of Law. In the future she intends on obtaining her qualification as an Independent Children’s Lawyer.
Grace has been with Walkden Law and Mediation from the beginning and prior to joining our team, she was employed as a Law Clerk with Landcom (NSW Government's land and property development organisation) and Paralegal with Family Conveyancing Practice.
Grace is passionate about helping others and being advocate for both her clients and the community at large. Grace has an active role in her local community taking part in numerous community programmes and activities.
Whilst Grace caseload is predominantly based on family law matters, estate planning and deceased estates, Grace also provides advice on commercial and residential property matters.
Grace grew up in Camden and Macarthur area and when not at work she enjoys reading and spending time with her family including her two Cavoodles Sage and Loki.

Annabelle Tiare Bastable
Solicitor
Annabelle practices family law and wills and estate planning and assists Principal Solicitor and Independent Children’s Lawyer Paul Walkden in his children’s matters. Annabelle completed her Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in 2021 and was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 2022.
Annabelle is currently completing a Master of Law (Applied Law) with a major in Family Dispute Resolution at the College of Law. In the future, Annabelle aims to obtain her qualifications as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and an Independent Children’s Lawyer.
Annabelle first joined our team as an experienced Paralegal in family law and children’s matters whilst studying her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
Annabelle is passionate about family law and children’s matters and believes in the voice of the child in family law and children’s matters.
Annabelle’s caseload is primarily private family law parenting and property matters, Legal Aid matters, wills and estate planning matters, and assisting with Independent Children’s Lawyer matters.
Annabelle grew up in the Campbelltown and Mount Druitt areas and when not at work Annabelle enjoys riding her motorcycle and spending time with family.

Linda joined Walkden Law & Mediation in 2016.
Linda previously worked for Legal Firms in Wollongong and Macarthur before joining our Conveyancing Team and has over 35 years of extensive conveyancing knowledge in all aspects of Property Law.
Linda is a Licensed Conveyancer having completed the Conveyancing Law & Practice course at Macquarie University in 2022.
Linda is interested in all aspects of Conveyancing and has great satisfaction in helping people achieve their dream of getting into the property market.
Linda grew up in the Wollongong area and loves living near the beach. Linda enjoys spending time with her husband, catching up with friends and family, holidays and especially loves spending time with her dogs Zena and Murphy.

Rachel joined Walkden Law & Mediation in early 2022.
Rachel previously worked for Legal Firms in the Macarthur and Sydney areas before joining our Conveyancing Team and has over 12 years of extensive conveyancing knowledge in all aspects of Property Law.
Rachel is a Licensed Conveyancer having completed The Conveyancing Law & Practice course at Macquarie University in 2016.
